wow just came back from NPCC camp tired like siao... last year was 4 days and this year was 3? had to fall in at 7 in sch worse than normal sch but all of us was dam excited lah. i carried three bags, a backpack with my cloths and stuff in it, i big plastic bag with my boots and shoes, finally my uniform in my suit cover. this year we had to rush, our np camp was clash with SYF[singapore youth festival] for 2 half days out of the 3 days. dam it... so we put our bags at the class rooms/bunks and headed for syf. wa lao waste our time... we got there wait for so long[hours doing nothing] just to wait for them to arrange ur seating position for syf -.- ... we did one or two songs then we go back liao. back in sch they change my np camp group with a gay-looking flag dam piss off but no choice. later in the late afternoons[like 4], we went for this freaking long walk. we walk from our sch to bayshore to east coast park through the underpass then walk some more to the another part of east coast to hav some activities. we played some teamwork games[as usual]but surpise it was dam fun. didnt go back sch for dinner but instead had dinner there which means we had to cook our own food. had maggie mee, caned curry, caned sardines, some packed buns and stuff which we had a really good exprience. we then walk back all the way in a longer rout back to sch. by the time we came back it was like 8 to 9+ liao. had a long discussion with our groups[about skit, cheer...], bath change and surprisingly it was 11 to 12+ liao so we went to slp. then it was wake up time but not in the morning but at 2.30 at night sian... ur group had to do night duty which all the other groups had to do too. wlk around the sch wrote some fair well letter and go back to slp
we woke up again at 6 did pt got wet in rain had breakfast then we were surppose to some drills till lunch but.... dono y our drills became so sucky. maybe it was because we were half asleep but anyway we still had punishment. we had to change from full-u to pt-kit to... 4-5 times doing our punishment change get scolding change do punishment again and after that we had a good nice talk with our sir. it was all tiring but fun as we did all of it as a squad with lots of unity. had lunch and then for the whole afternoon we had dam freaking lots of fun to much to write down. we ran all over the sch, laughing and getting wet. i had my bast meal ever and after that we had the highlight of the camp --> the camp fire night. {this part also dam hard to write down so i will keep it short} the guest of honour this year for our campfire this year was MR teng. MR teng lit the fire and we stated singing lots of camp songs had some fun and watched the groups skit. in my group's skit i had to act gay dots... dono y the sec 1 this year like sian sian like that. when doing the songs they like zombie like that -.-" .. but the sec 4s sure had fun, making lots and lots of noise lol. when the camp finished we talked u some of the xNCOs for a moment but had to fall-in and then surppose to slp at around l1-12, instead something else happen. they suddenly took out some ponchos which they found laying around and ask whose they were. there were like 3 ponchos but nobody came to claim them and this is where the "fun" begins... all of us including the sec 1s were asked to pack all our things in the bunks and leave nothing behind. we past the time limit they gave us and then left lots of things behind in the bunks. dam!!! we slowly slowly claim our things and there was even a point in time when we were asked to do 10 push-ups every 15 mins we delayed. so after a long long time we still left 2 ponchos sian... nobody made a freaking sound when our sirs asked whose is it. i think think think realise it could be np rooms one so i told my sir. my sir asked one of the ncos and suddenly they all realise it was np room one and i was like dots......... so our sirs talked to us for a while and by the time they finish it was already 2+[dam long right?]. we were asked to bring our things back and go to slp by... thank god got no night duty anot a must well dont slp.
we woke up the same time did ur last pt of the camp and had breakfast. then we when for SYF sian... again go there dance here dance there then go back sch and had our final meal of the camp. After that we were given time to pack our stuff and change to our Full-u. it was now time for P.O.P[passing out parade] the time where our NCOs pass out and a new batch of NCOs come in. had some rehearsals and then it was P.O.P . the parade was so nice. neat!!! now came the sad part when we say ur thx to our NCOs. lots of people cried, as for me i tried to control but end up still crying. our H.O then release the names of the community members and we were asked to change out of our full-u and fall-in with our bags. we said our byes and received some gifts from the sec 4s. i actually wanted to hang around a little longer but they say got to be out of the sch by 5pm so of course i went home lah lol. this years camp wasnt every exciting at all at the beginning but when i realise all the shit that we sec 2s went through as a squad and all the fun times we had, i turned out to actually enjoy myself.
